LADIES NIGHT OUT ANNOUNCEMENTS:

Let's get together, enjoy food, fellowship, and inspiration, and celebrate the New Year with its fresh opportunities and transforming hope.
*Decorating Items Needed: glass candlestick holders of various lengths, glass pedestal bowls AND platters, white pillar candles various heights. If you have any items listed above and would like to loan them for the evening, please bring them to the church by Sunday January 15th and have them marked so they can be identified following the event. If you have any questions contact Brenda Miller at 646-6611.
MEALS IN TEACHING! Please submit your name or the name of someone you think would benefit from a special teaching seminar to be held here on February 18, 2006. We would like to finish this discernment process by January 15. Forms are in the church foyer.
Now available: "The Purpose Driven Life" written by Rick Warren has impacted many lives. We offer the opportunity to purchase this book for $8, for yourself or a friend. If you would like to purchase a copy or already have a copy, please let the church office know. It is our hope that everyone in the church will be able to use a copy during the 40 Days of Purpose. You may stop by the table in the foyer following the morning service and pick up a copy.
Pastor Howard Wagler, Senior Pastor of South Hutchinson Mennonite Church, will be with us the weekend of February 4 & 5 to help us better understand the impact of the 40 Days of Purpose on his congregation. The South Hutchinson Mennonite Church has studied the Purpose Driven Church Model and has helped several congregations across the Mennonite Church to faithfully understand Rick Warren’s writing from an Anabaptist perspective.

Wednesday, January 11 at 2:30 p.m. the Caregiver’s Support Group will meet at Pleasantview Home, Kalona in the Chapel, Blue Room. Lavon Yeggy, RN, BSN, Memory Loss Nurse Specialist, will be present. This is an informal meeting for all persons who are caregivers or have interest in assisting those with memory loss and dementia.
