STATEMENT OF FAITH

We accept the Old and New Testaments as wholly inspired by God, an infallible authority for faith and practice, and a witness to God's supreme revelation in Jesus Christ (2 Timothy 3:16 and 2 Peter 1:19-2)1.

We believe in one God existing eternally as Father, Son and Holy Spirit, as Creator and Sustainer, and Savior of mankind (Romans 1:20, John 1:1-18, John 14:26 and John 15:26).

We believe in the Deity of our Lord Jesus Christ (John 1:1,14, Colossians 2:9, 1 John 5:20, Acts 2:36); in His virgin birth (Luke 1:26-30); in His sinless life (2 Corinthians 5:21); in His miracles (John 11:47); in His vicarious suffering and atoning death through His bodily resurrection (Hebrews 9:14, 28, John 3:16-17); in His ascension to the right hand of the Father (John 14:16, Romans 8:34); and His personal return in power and glory (Revelation 1:7, Acts 1:10-11, 1 Thessalonians 4:13-10); True God and true man (Philippians 2:6-11).

We believe in the Holy Spirit, the third person of the Godhead, as the Divine Agent in the world who inspires bears witness to Christ, empowers believers and is God's Seal for the day of redemption (John 14:26, 15:26, Ephesians 4:30).

We believe that God created the universe and that man was created in the image of God, but that by disobedience he was separated from God, took on a sinful nature, in consequence of which he can attain right standing with God only through faith in Jesus Christ (Ephesians 2:12, Romans 10:9,10, John 1:12 and Romans 3:11-24).

We believe that an individual can live in the confidence of personal salvation, by confessing their sinful nature before God, asking Jesus Christ to be Lord of their life, receiving the sacrifice of Christ's death and shed blood as that which makes one holy and acceptable before God the Father, and living out a daily faith, submitting to the Lordship of Jesus (Hebrews 10:19-24, Romans 3:9,10,20, Romans 10:9, Romans 12:1-3).

We believe that the church is the body of believers in Christ, ministering the Word, administering the ordinances, and sharing the good News of the Gospel (Rom. 12:4-8, I Corinthians 12:12-31).

We believe in the bodily resurrection of the just to everlasting life and of the unjust to eternal separation from God (John 5:28,29, Matthew 25:34, 41, Revelation 12:4-8, 2 Corinthians 12:12-31).

We believe in the personal and imminent return of the Lord Jesus Christ, from heaven as the blessed hope  of believers (Acts 1:10-11, II Thessalonians 1:7-10, 1 Corinthians 15:50-53).

We believe in prayer for Divine healing, knowing it is God who heals both spiritually and physically through His Son Jesus Christ (Matthew 7:7-11, 12:10-1 21:22, Acts 3:6-8 and James 5:15).
